Audience measurement
To know how many people read the guides and reports, we use Matomo, an audience-measurement tool. It records usage information only: pages viewed, the site you came from, device and browser type, country. It is configured to stay within the consent exemption that the French data-protection authority (CNIL) provides for audience measurement:
- measurement is limited to this site, with no cross-checking against other processing and no sharing with third parties;
- the last byte of your IP address is removed before anything is recorded;
- identifiers last no more than 13 months, and data is kept for [period to be specified];
- data is hosted [on our own server, to be specified: host and country]. This data is used only to measure traffic and improve the content. Because it is exempt from consent, the site shows no cookie banner. You can object at any time: [Matomo opt-out link to insert].
What the site does not do
No advertising cookies, no embedded social-network buttons or content, no fonts loaded from an external service.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (see “Host”). A host may keep technical connection logs, including IP addresses, to ensure security and proper operation of the service.
